Local App Data and On-Device Storage
The application stores the case information you create locally on the Android device. This covers the material you enter or save while working through a review, and it may consist of the following.
This content stays on your device. It is not automatically transmitted to the developer as part of the core workflow, and the company does not hold it on its own servers. Treat everything you enter as local app content that you control on your own device.
- Saved local cases
- Local notes you write
- Local photo attachments you choose to add
- Local status records, such as confirmed, missing, uncertain or not needed
- Local exports, such as on-device summaries generated on the device
Optional Photos and Image Attachments
The application allows you to attach photos to a case. Photos are user-selected local content: you decide which image to add, and the image is stored as part of the local case on your device. The application does not automatically send these images to the developer, and no automatic capture or scanning of your image library takes place. Working through a review without adding any photos remains possible.
Exporting, Sharing and External Actions
Locally generated summaries can be exported from the application. Export happens only when you choose it, and the resulting file is saved or passed on through Android system actions. Your data remains on the device unless you choose to export, copy or share it.
The application may also open an external Android service, such as a browser or the Android share sheet, when you select an action that needs one. Those external services operate under their own privacy practices.
Local Content and Developer-Side Handling
The application does not require personal identity information for its core workflow. You can use the review features without supplying your name, and nothing in the workflow depends on the company identifying you.
User-created local content may contain personal information if you choose to type it in or attach it. Because that content is stored locally on your device, the company does not receive it as part of the normal operation of the application. Local content is not automatically transmitted to the developer, and information leaves your device only where you yourself export it, copy it or share it.
If you contact the company by email, the company receives your email address and whatever your message contains. That is direct correspondence with the company and is separate from the case data held in the application.
What the App Does Not Include
The application does not include login or account registration, does not include payment processing, and does not offer subscriptions or other monetisation features. The core workflow is local to the device and does not depend on cloud synchronisation or on a copy of your case data being held elsewhere by the company.
Important Use Notice
Keystone Service Advisory supports preparation and review. The statuses and summaries it produces are based on the observations and evidence you enter and on the comparisons you make, and they are intended as informational and practical aids.
The application helps you review the completeness and consistency of the evidence you hold. It does not make formal determinations and is not a substitute for formal professional assessment, certification or sign-off. Nothing it produces constitutes legal, financial, insurance or regulatory advice.
Retention and Removal
Local data remains on the device until you delete it, clear the application's local data through Android settings, or uninstall the application. Exported files remain wherever you choose to save or share them, and any further copies made by other applications are governed by those applications.
Because the company does not hold your case data on its own servers, there is no separate server copy of that data to remove.
Security
Local app content is kept within the application's own storage on the device and is not held on company servers. Protecting the device itself, for example through the screen lock you configure, remains with you, and you also remain responsible for any file you choose to export or share.
UK and EEA Data Rights
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have rights under applicable data protection legislation. These can include access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, and restriction of processing, where those rights apply under the law.
Whether a particular right is available depends on the circumstances, including whether personal data is being processed by the company. The case data you create is stored locally and is not automatically transmitted to the developer, so in most situations you can manage it directly on your device, for example by editing or deleting entries, clearing the application's local data through Android settings, or uninstalling the application.
If you have contacted the company by email and wish to raise a request in relation to that correspondence, you can write using the contact details below.
Children's Privacy
The application is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If information of that kind is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or otherwise address the situation.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the application or in applicable requirements. When a revision is made, the revision date shown alongside this policy is updated, and the version presented here is the current one.
